When training staff, clinical educators can choose to use either OneStep

training electrodes or a complete training kit, which includes a manikin

and See-Thru CPR

simulator, as well as the electrodes. See-Thru CPR

is ZOLL’s proprietary technology that is used to filter out compression

artifact on the ECG monitor. This allows rescuers to see the underlying

heart rhythm during CPR, which reduces the duration of pauses in

compressions. The See-Thru CPR simulator enables staff to become

familiar with this unique technology before they need to use it with

a patient during a resuscitation event.

The R Series has unmatched pediatric capabilities. When used with

OneStep Pediatric CPR electrodes, the R Series automatically reduces the

shock energy to a lower protocol, starting at 50 joules rather than 120.

When OneStep Pediatric CPR electrodes are used, the depth and rate

of every compression is displayed on the R Series’ CPR Dashboard.
